This year, I registered for the Komen Race for the Cure because I want to make an impact in the fight against breast cancer. In the past three years my family went from no history of breast cancer to one of us a year for the past three years. Through genetic testing we found all three of us carry the BRCA 1 gene. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today in support of my fund. The Susan G. Komen Foundation helped financially subsidize the outrageous co-pays associated with my chemotherapy through a grant with the Prescription Assistance Program.I am now on my way to Double D's for Debbie and hope that all my friends and family will consider donating to this great organization.
You can donate online with your credit card by clicking the button above my fundraising thermometer.
Your support helps us get one step closer to a world without breast cancer. 75 percent of the money raised through the Race stays in the community to fund local breast cancer education, screening and treatment programs. The remaining 25 percent supports groundbreaking breast cancer research.
Together, we are fueling the best science, boldest community and biggest impact in the fight against breast cancer. And we will not stop until this disease is gone forever. Will you please join me in this fight by making a donation today?

What you don't know going in : Eleven months after my double mastectomy I will finally get the girls back today...skin sparing surgery can have complications and set backs. If anything can go wrong it usually does 😃. It's literally been on again off again this past year.
It will be nice to have the girls back...
